‘misery never ends’

gambled too much with you
offering worship devotedly
doing your chores faithfully
suffering endlessly i struggle

whispering daily my despondency
i am now exhausted, and wasted!
living with you a life of tranquility
i learn: i cannot flee from misery

Note: Title taken  from Vincent Van Gogh's
note to his brother Theo Van Gogh
and the content of the word, 'misery'
should be read with Buddha's Dukkha'
peppered and salted with
'Annata' and 'Anicca'.

a piece of poop

i see my nothingness clearly yet becoming
a bodhisattva is nothing but a mirage
unreal water good not for quenching
thirst of self, tired of search among poop

lee and scum people leave behind in cup
unlike that of the creatures bigger but smaller
brains for palaeontologists and the likes
to construct and instruct me the path

to nirvana, that extinction, a blowing out
to me a smaller a crow on the tree top
that worthless chicken poop in a fowl cage
walking on ground with shoes with no grip

making the walking tedious and frustrating
looking always down on the ground
unable to see awesome scenes around
to spark fire in heart, an energy for soul

crowned to witness

my gorgeous kite
that once floated above
(right on top of other kites
less colourful
and much smaller)
is stuck on the crown
of that coconut palm
with string now broken
and entertaining none
but yet witnessing in eternity
to that fragile, frail beauty
of success, short lived
