rusty, mouldy, and faulty

your household cherishes rusty liturgy
irrelevant to daily days
giving no stimulation for struggle
to overthrow burden that cripple years

men and women who bear your son’s name
play with a mouldy mindset, dead doctrine
that has lost its power to guard your yard
from straying cattle destroying vegetation

children in your hall dance to faulty tune
until they are tired to meet death
and your banquet hallway is empty
being freed of all perishing wealth

walk the path of Jesus

i have halted my hoping

for your encouragement

and you sustaining my work

of justice and reconciliation

and i expect not you

the patron of the patronizing

rich and the insensitive pretenders

to keep my vision alive

for i am brutally betrayed

by the same kiss of Judas, the pan handler

and cautiously rejected

by the chief priests and caesars of today

and thereafter cruelly crucified

by the sadistic fun loving masses

but will i not continue in the same path

of that crucified Jesus of Nazareth

sneaking out

my youthful loneliness ventured

the aridness of the desert in search

of company transforming in my eyes

the wilderness into a paradise

with maiden fair and beautiful

breathing freely on my face cool

and then, hot air like inside my ford focus

on a wintry drive keeping my cold blood warm

awareness as was in Prince Siddhartha

unexpectedly crawled into my mind

disturbing my nightly peace

transforming the breath, the poise

into an unbearable noise prompting me

like a coward to creep out fearing

on the morrow i may rise snappy and cranky

preferring to rid of sleep and shiver in cold
