with that piercing pain in heart
your mother caused with her kick
on my face, i carried
your sleeping son and your shoe
for mending in the mall
on my return and to complete
my mission, i bent downto tighten and fix shoe strap
but with brimming ungratefulness
you kicked me, again, on my face
