living without a title

do i call this a loss
of fund
faith
and face

or an opportune moment
for a new construction
to live
not as a living dead

but to walk swift
altered neither by praises
nor curses
moving to reign the moon

expecting not
an angelic intervention
when i fail
or, to name that my fate

cherishing not the first place
but stay human watering
a sun scorched plant
in this parched land

free ice cream

with a blank brain
and a plain paper
i sneakily stand
for name and fame
a lot greater

like kids running
to the ice cream vendor
with no cash, or coins
but abundant desire

to lick
a poem to stick
like an ice cream
of no price

roaming in eternity

he knows his strength
at least, he fears not
what he lacks
or, what little he has

with a thick skin
of the plains buffalo
he lives beyond a need
to strengthen his ego

or picking feathers for a cap
with an absent need to cover
his head from sun that burns
or cloud pouring  crocodile tears

neither does he need
any paper
online, or offline, to cover
his stinky arse, his poetic farts

wilderness of flourishing failures
a landscape, he much thrives
on, holding tight the horns
of the seasons roaming in eternity!

lessons to lessen expectation

you teach me love to love

from morn to night

expecting no ease for my life

as i, like the sun, give light

to those near and far

working from dawn to dusk

both with limbs and mind

serving those at risk

of losing their comfort

pushing me to let go my desire

to avoid moments of discomfort

seeking scenes to retire

nothing

i dreamt, last night, my fat holder

my purse; morning i heard the masses

calling it hope, the spring flower

to settle before my death my debt

since all i was firmly determined

this noon i opened my wallet

like tilling my ground, my garden

the summer fruits to harvest, only

to find the warden has hidden

all, leaving me with nothing

only the unpaid rising to drown

my mind, my dream, my everything

Emma and Eva

your ways in the world, for me at least
is always a mystery, and often
very irritating to my sensibility!

Emma at her old age turns to you with great love
but all she reaps in that turning is more pain!

Eva despite her own misfortune works so hard
to care, but hardly anything comes easy on her way!

in this, how do you expect me to announce
your providence, your intimate presence
with those who call your name!

i pray that you heal Emma
and make the burden easier for Eva
proliferating your presence in their path!

month-end pay-packet

a month-end pay-packet, now, i collect not
but i continue waking before the sun wakes
stretching feet many hours after the sun sets
picking crumbs falling from greased wallets

and buy, cook, and lay tables for animals
sleeping until the sun warms their butts
with only purpose to empty the bulbs
the tax money from hard working nests

do i, then, call mine a living soul, or a machine
paying bills? do i, then, smile and dance, or whine
and kill my urge to plod? do i, then, wake-up
and strike, or yawn in my grave, before i sleep
