Yesterday to help my fellow citizen
I, with great haste, willingly volunteered
In her hard hour of ominous need
I did walk in her moccasin
But today from my post I am relieved
Finding that I am needed no more
She also ripped me off my garment
And makes me walk half naked
Expecting me, otherwise to opt
An early exit from neighbourhood
Leaving her conscience at ease
And herself in comfort of crime
Calling the same a moving forward!
